We Are Going on a Field Trip !
Where: Howell Living History Farm
70 Woodens Lane

When: Tuesday , October 27th, 2026
Time at the Farm : 10 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
Itinerary: 8:00 AM Students arrive at school
8:00-8:45 AM Quran Class
9:15 AM Leave from school
10:00 AM – 12:15 PM Corn Harvest Program at the farm
(corn harvesting, shelling, grinding, 1800s kitchen)
12:15-1:00 PM Lunch / Feed the Animals
1:00-1:30 PM Return to school
1:30 PM Students will be picked up by parents from the school.
Cost: $20.00 per student
$20.00 per parent (payment + permission slips will not be accepted after Wednesday, October 21st)
Dress code: Gym uniform & sneakers only, abaya acceptable for grades 4-8 girls
Please fill out the permission slip below for your child to attend this trip. Both permission slip and fee are due by October 21st.
It is highly recommended that the parents of Pre-K and Kindergarten students be present for field trips to ensure the safety and well-being of the children. Young kids require close supervision, and having parents along provides additional support, helps manage the group, and enhances the overall experience. This involvement also fosters a sense of community and allows parents to engage in their child's educational journey.
We will leave the school at 9:15 A.M., attend the programs and have lunch there. Please make sure your child has a packed, disposable bag lunch (no lunch boxes or glass bottles allowed).
Please note that we cannot accommodate non- Al Taleem Academy school-age children on our school field trips. School will be closed for the duration of the trip as teachers will be chaperoning. Please pack a brown bag snack, lunch separately and a disposable water bottle for your child to take with them on the day of the trip.
If you are providing your own transportation, you may meet us at the location at 10 am instead of coming to school in the morning.
